Command Development®
Command Development® is a six day facilitation extended over a two month period, tailored for directors and managers of Revenue Producers and Revenue Support. This facilitation provides the opportunity for development in addition to aligning with new strategies. The following learning modules compromise this facilitation:
Behavior
Using the behavioral science of Professional Dynametrics Programs® (PDP®), this module ensures participants measure their natural leadership, communication and back-up behavior. Current stresses and satisfaction levels within the team are identified, along with the perception of each team member (how they are role playing to survive or thrive). Most importantly, participant’s see how their behavior supports the ROI in their current leadership role.
The Role of the Commander
The role of the commander is to successfully balance leadership and management in the pursuit of a goal, under dynamic conditions with limited resources. The purpose of this module is to ensure participants grasp the necessity for long-range thinking, purposeful communication, simple planning, and role clarity in business.
Communication I
Communication is one of the most critical factors in business operations. This module examines the nature of communication and the means of ensuring precision and clarity in thought and words. Participants establish and adopt a uniform language to ensure clarity and precision in their communication throughout the organization.
Communication II
The difficulty of directing team efforts in dynamic environments demands a simple, official means of communication. This module provides a process which ensures directives can be quickly received and understood throughout the entire organization. These directives are simple and clear, and most of all, promote individual initiative to maximize results.
Planning I
This module is planning at the tactical and operational levels. Planning I examines how to quickly create and develop simple plans which ensure individual initiative and cross-functional support. Most importantly, this module provides the fundamentals of planning, forming the basis for all strategy work.
Art and Science of Argument
This module is designed to support senior executives in persuading others to their point when differing notions appear on an issue. Argument integrates previous modules, in particular communication I and planning II.
